“Celebrate Easter with this egg-based theme”

For many people, Easter is a time for gorging themselves on chocolate and personally I usually end up about 10 kilos heavier by the end of it.

If you want to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus without piling on the pounds then why not install a mobile theme featuring Easter eggs, rather than physically going out and getting some? This one lets you do just that, placing a wallpaper of eggs on the background of your Today screen.

The picture is of high quality and the colourful eggs look good enough to eat. The theme also restyles the menu bars, and the navigation and command bars are adorned in a vibrant deep purple colour, which I really liked.

The one thing that lets this theme down though is the change it makes to the Start menu. It places another nice egg image behind the menu items, but it also adds a white background to the menu, which means that most of the white menu text is unreadable.

The egg image provides the perfect way to celebrate Easter on your Pocket PC, but unfortunately the Start menu colour scheme lets this theme down.

This theme for Pocket PC devices features a background image of a series of colored Easter eggs, along with changes to the menu and toolbar styling. Easter eggs are specially decorated eggs given to celebrate the Easter holiday or springtime. The oldest tradition is to use dyed and painted chicken eggs, but a modern custom is to substitute chocolate eggs, or plastic eggs filled with confectionery such as jellybeans. These eggs are often hidden, supposedly by the Easter Bunny, for children to find on Easter morning.
